Artists Act was created by Lise Ellingsen—artist, entrepreneur, and board member of Sistergood—as a dedicated fundraiser where artists come together to donate their work in support of causes they care about.

The initiative began in 2022 with Artists Act for Animals and has since expanded to support other missions, including women’s rights.

This year, Artists Act for Sistergood launched with a pop-up during Upstate Art Weekend and will culminate in an exclusive community building Pop-Up Exhibition at Publicis Health HQ December 3rd.

While many artists explore these themes in their practice, they do not always have a direct outlet for meaningful action. Artists Act provides a platform for artists to actively contribute while also building community around these shared passions.
